On Thursday 19th April 12 of our Year 7 and 8 boys represented West Oxfordshire at the Indoor Athletics County Finals at the Leys Leisure Centre in Oxford. This is a team-based event including all 3 disciplines of running, jumping and throwing. On a very hot afternoon the boys did themselves proud giving absolutely everything they had.
Year 8 finished in 4th place, 1 point behind 3rd and only 2 points behind the runners up!
Year 7 went one better and finished in 3rd place collecting their medals to applause from other participants and spectators.
