Year 7 ‘Tenner Challenge’

Young Enterprise’s ‘Tenner Challenge’ is an exciting national challenge which encourages students to turn start-up capital of £10 into a profit within one month. Through this challenge students develop key business skills including creativity, problem-saving and team work. They can then choose how to use their profits for the good of the community. We are very impressed with the efforts made by the Year 7s this year which meant that over £1000 were raised for important charities.
The team that raised the most money was Charlotte Nunnely, Lily Stanton and Cadence James. They donated the £247 they raised to Parkinson’s UK and the Spinal Injuries Association. Lily Coombes, regional fundraiser for Parkinson’s came to school to collect a cheque for £117. She was very impressed with the students efforts and grateful for their donation.
